1. Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and hashed password. When you use the service, we store your project data (project names, descriptions, conversation messages, and generated deliverables).
We also collect standard usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and interaction timestamps. This data is used for service improvement and security monitoring.
2. How we use your information
- To provide and maintain the arch0 service
- To authenticate your account and manage sessions
- To process subscription payments via Stripe
- To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset)
- To monitor service health and prevent abuse
We do not use your architecture data (projects, messages, deliverables) to train AI models. Your data is used only to provide the service.
3. Data sharing
We share data only with the following third-party services, as necessary to operate the platform:
- Anthropic — AI model provider (receives conversation messages to generate responses)
- Stripe — payment processor (receives billing information)
- MongoDB Atlas — database provider (stores encrypted project data)
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share your data for advertising purposes.
4. Data retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual projects at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us through the contact page. Account deletion is processed within 30 days.
5. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, bcrypt password hashing, and JWT-based session management. For more details, see our Security page.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, export, correct, or delete your personal data. You can exercise these rights through your account settings or by contacting us. If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through a notice on the service. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
